My painting depicts a curation of objects – or documents – all of personal significance. Many of these have value to me, especially through associations with my family, faith, interests, and certain points of my life.
My painting explores how objects will take on value, regardless of their material worth, through means of their associated story.

of a mouse lie next to and intertwine with the full and vibrant flower.
Flight, 2024
Flight is a narrative piece painted with a single coloured pigment. It captures a critical moment in time, as the inanimate is released into life. Exploring the relationship between the real and the imagined – or the possible and the impossible – this ambiguous work invites the viewer in to seek out their own story or metaphor.
