This small scale still life represents the contrast β€˜life and death’; the partial skeletal remains of a mouse lie next to and intertwine with the full and vibrant flower.

Flight

Flight is a narrative piece painted with a single coloured pigment. It captures a critical moment in time, as the inanimate is released into life. Exploring the relationship between the real and the imagined – or the possible and the impossible – this ambiguous work invites the viewer in to seek out their own story or metaphor.
